Why I Created GRO Coaching & Consulting

I founded GRO Coaching & Consulting Ltd here in Exeter, Devon because I could see a gap that so many businesses and individuals were struggling to bridge.

 

After nearly a decade working in recruitment and corporate training, and more than 10 years in wellbeing and coaching, it became clear to me that people are our biggest business asset, yet tangled, outdated, or inefficient processes often hold them back from productivity. I couldn’t ignore this any longer, so I built a company that offers no-nonsense, effective People & Talent and Coaching solutions that drive real results.

I never wanted to choose between recruitment, training, or coaching… because in my world, they all belong together. GRO Coaching & Consulting brings them into one place to help both organisations and individuals grow in a way that feels aligned, sustainable, and fulfilling.

How I Support Businesses

I typically partner with small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to design effective recruitment and talent acquisition processes that actually work. This includes creating attraction strategies, interview frameworks, candidate assessment matrices, and supporting with contract creation and negotiation.

For me, recruitment doesn’t stop at the job offer. Using my HR and people development experience, I help businesses optimise onboarding and probation processes to improve integration, performance, retention, and overall employee experience.

I also deliver corporate training and development programmes on wellbeing, management, communication, and conflict resolution. Where organisations want deeper, long-term impact, I strengthen this work through follow-up coaching to embed learning and support behaviour change. 

How I Support Individuals

GRO Coaching is where my passion for wellbeing coaching and positive psychology comes to life. I work one-to-one with high-achieving, empathetic individuals who often feel burnt out, overwhelmed, or misaligned in their work or personal life. I also support individuals navigating career transitions helping build confidence and create clarity.

It's not about "pushing through", instead we untangle and realign. 

Together, we explore the link between lifestyle, mindset, and resilience. Using practical habit formation, evidence-based coaching tools, and psychology-informed techniques, I help clients create clarity, confidence, and sustainable wellbeing. 

What I Bring

My qualifications include CIPD Levels 3 and 5, and coaching recognised by NHS England and the EMCC, ensuring a professional and ethical standard across everything I deliver.

GRO Coaching & Consulting exists because I believe people and businesses thrive when they feel clear, connected and aligned.
